Dave Rudge is a singer songwriter who learned his craft in the Cornwall music scene before moving to the Highlands. He then stole ready-made rhythm section, brothers Richard and Martin Bell, from a fledgling covers band on the condition that Martin took up the double bass. Ernest Rambles was formed.
