Situated in a Grade A Listed Thomas Telford Parliamentary Church we have a special relationship with Lochbroom’s history and maintaining the relationship between the local community and their history is our top priority.
Ullapool Museum also offers other services including, a base for local research and a genealogy hub with a dedicated and experienced Genealogy Volunteer group.
Ullapool works together with the local community to ensure that their story is told in an appropriate fashion to the thousands of visitors that come to Ullapool each year.
Describe the impact of your location on your business:
Ullapool Museum attribute a significant amount of impact to our location. Our location on the NC500, our easy access to the ferry links to Eilean Siar, and our natural beautiful landscape ensure a steady stream of visitors to the area all year round.
This has been increasing in recent years due o the popularity of the NC500 and the increased Social Media presence of several Ullapool businesses and establishments.
