Despite the challenges faced by the creative and business sectors, solutions were initiated by many in various touchpoints and markets that have allowed numerous parts of our business to move forward. Live streaming helped artists remain connected to fans and collaborate creatively, while growth continued for DSPs, social media platforms and more. Artist development and marketing took on new entrepreneurial paths to help artists succeed in the COVID era. As the industry looks to the future, will these new mediums and methods for content creation and consumption remain? What does the future look like beyond the pandemic as the world starts to open back up to a new (ab)normal? This session will feature leading globally minded executives from across the music and media landscape to weigh in on the where the global market is at and what’s on the horizon.
