Barrie Kelly

Barrie Kelly began his production career at BBC Radio 1, going on to launch the acclaimed Radio 1 Breakfast Show with Zoe Ball. Barrie then crossed over into television and spent ten years at the BBC developing and producing several iconic shows and formats for BBC One, Two and Three including Top of The Pops, The Eurovision Song Contest, Sport Relief and The Queen’s Jubilee Concerts. During his time at the BBC, he also served as Executive Producer, Content & Brand Innovation for BBC Worldwide, where he developed new global brands and produced shows such as Junior Doctors.
In 2012, Barrie joined NBCUniversal and now oversees the international TV productions of some of the most successful formats on the planet, including Top Chef, The Real Housewives, Saturday Night Live and Hollywood Game Night.
Valerie Creighton, C.M., S.O.M.
President and CEO, Canada Media Fund
Valerie Creighton is an industry leader in arts, culture and media, recognised for reenergising some of the country’s most important organisations in the sector over the last 30 years. Currently serving as President and CEO of the Canada Media Fund, Valerie positions Canadian programming at the forefront in world markets advocating successful, innovative Canadian content and software applications for current and emerging digital platforms. Most recently she was named one of 2016’s 20 most powerful women in global television by The Hollywood Reporter, was recognised in 2017 by Women in Television and Film – Vancouver for her major contribution to promoting gender equality in media and was awarded as the Honorary Maverick for the 2017 Female Eye Film Festival.
