It’s a People Business: HR in 2022 and Looking After Your Biggest Assets
11:15am - 12:15pm
People, and the knowledge, networks and enthusiasm they bring to your business are your biggest asset. The creative and heritage sectors are largely made up of micro and small businesses, with volunteers playing a vital role in helping museums deliver their services to the public. Looking after staff, meeting legal requirements and making sure we generate an environment that really values staff are vitally important- but how many small businesses can honestly afford to engage dedicated HR support? In this interactive session, Purpose (HR & Coaching) CEO, Lisa Thomson, and Muckle Media Managing Director, Nathalie Agnew, who runs the first Scottish PR Agency to secure B-Corp status for fostering a positive organisational culture dedicated to more than just profit, will break down the key issues that small businesses need to address and provide an opportunity for participants to gain key insights on more effective HR management.
