Rapper, poet, hip-hop academic and winner of Best Hip-Hop at the Scottish Alternative Music Awards, Solareye released his debut solo album - All These People Are Me - in 2018, described by Ian Rankin as: “a stunning album… The great contemporary Scottish novel in rap form”. Solareye's first release of 2019 – Brickwall – is out on 26th April. It’s a portrait of a bad mood set against a murky soundscape, half-lit by the gloom-ination of producer Dunt. Best known as the lyricist and songwriter with alternative hip-hop group Stanley Odd, Solareye's toured throughout the UK and around the globe.
