WHɎTE’s unique blend of electronica and Gaelic song has been winning them plaudits at home and abroad since the band’s inception in 2016. The duo comprises electronic composer Ross Whyte and Gaelic singer, songwriter Alasdair C. Whyte. The band’s original Gaelic song ‘Cionran’ from their debut album, ‘Fairich’ received the 2017 Hands Up for Trad/Creative Scotland Nòs Ùr Songwriting Award. WHɎTE represented Alba/Scotland with original Gaelic songs at Liet International 2018 XXL in Friesland and Pan Celtic Festival 2017 in the Republic of Ireland. Their second album will be released on 19 May.
