CodeBase Will Run The £42M Network of Seven Incubators Across Scotland

A Tech Scaler Network consisting of seven hubs across Scotland has been announced, with Edinburgh-based CodeBase picking up the £42 million Scottish Government contract as ‘custodian’ of the network.

The creation of the tech scaler network is a key component of the recommendations made by Professor Mark Logan as part of the 2020 Scottish Tech Ecosystem Review (aka The Logan Report), which focuses on creating a more consistently successful tech sector in Scotland.

The network will create focal points and hubs for tech-related startups (including games), events and learning across the country. It represents one of the largest investments by the Scottish Government into Scotland’s future as an entrepreneurial nation.
