As every business regardless of size or scale owns or uses some form of IP, protection of some of your most valuable assets is essential in the creative industries. Given the significant impact of the current pandemic on our sector, innovation continues to be a key factor in responding to the challenges posed by Covid-19. As businesses diversify at pace - surfacing new products and services to broaden their offering and using technology in more innovative ways than ever - a wider understanding of IP sits front and centre as we try to navigate this uncertain time. Although this area can often seem daunting, this session will cut through the myriad of key issues relevant to our sector and offer an understandable overview on protecting everything that makes your business unique.
Leading creative industries lawyer Jonathan Tait has significant experience working for a host of leading companies alongside extensive and specialist experience across the Creative Industries. Following a long career in the sector, he retrained as a Solicitor with a specialist knowledge of intellectual property protection and exploitation, data protection and media & entertainment law. Jonathan offers that rare advantage of combining legal knowledge with hands-on experience across the creative landscape.
As we anticipate real demand for this must attend session, we are requesting that questions be sent in advance in order to answer as many queries as possible. The deadline for submissions will be Monday 31 August at 12pm.
