Iona Hall Jewellery
Iona takes inspiration from the movement, lines and irregular patterns in the beaches near her home in Moray to produce some wonderful unique pieces.
Location: Moray
I have been making jewellery and silversmithing for 8 years, including my degree at Glasgow School of Art. My passion for boxes come from the aspect of discovery that they can hold, an object that fits in the palm of your hand, however once opened reveals a treasure hidden within, through detailed work internally and externally. I am drawn to movement, lines and irregular patterns in natural forms from the beaches in the Highlands, translating these elements into my work. I work in silver and occasionally in gold. I love bringing a hint of colour to the subtle silver, whether that be a strip of gold, enamel or adding a stone.
