Regional Administrative Officer, MU Scotland and Northern Ireland | Louise has worked for the Musicians’ Union in the Scotland & Northern Ireland office for over 6 years. Louise is a songwriter and studied BA Popular Music at Edinburgh Napier University.

The Music Producers Guild was conceived and is supported by producers and engineers who are passionate about all aspects of making and recording music. It is a not-for-profit company and is run by volunteers from the membership.
Producer/ Engineer/ Mixer/ Writer/ Musician/ Executive Director of the Music Producers Guild | In bands, Andrew has shared stages with Mike Scott and Marcella Detroit, had publishing and production deals with J. Albert & Sons and Bird & Bush and, since moving behind the desk, worked with Grammy winners Jimmy Hogarth, Cameron Craig and Mick Glossop. Recent projects include Hazel Iris, Jonathon Holder & The Good Thinking and SALIO.
Producer/ Engineer/ Mixer/ Musician | This year Brett won MPG Breakthrough Engineer Of The Year for his work with Alt-J and Marika Hackman. He has spent much of his time recently working with MPG Producer Of The Year Charlie Andrew at his Iguana Studios, but also produces records in his own right and has worked with Jack Garratt, Tusks and more.
Producer/ Mixer/ Musician | Starting off in Glasgow indie bands, Cameron then toured the world as a session guitarist (CSS and Alabama 3), before producing George Ezra’s massive breakthrough album, Wanted On Voyage. He is at the helm of his own Voltaire Studios, producing early recordings for London Grammar. His other clients include Billie Marten, Eaves and Gavin James.
Mixer | Dave Bascombe is undisputedly one of today’s finest mix engineers. His work in the 1980s established a defining sound for artists such as Depeche Mode, Tears For Fears, Peter Gabriel, Human League, ABC and Erasure. His reputation has continued to soar, with recent work with Goldfrapp, Ironik, Royksopp, Lady Antebellum and Pendulum.
Producer/ Engineer | John has produced and engineered over 100 acclaimed albums. He started at Abbey Road studios and worked with, amongst others, George Harrison, John Lennon and Pink Floyd. He may be best known for producing The Stone Roses, Radiohead and Muse but has also worked with Simple Minds, XTC, Magazine, The Fall, New Order and The Coral.
Producer/ Engineer | Mick Glossop has been producing, engineering and mixing for over 35 years. Initially known for recording and producing new wave and punk bands such as Magazine, Public Image Ltd and The Ruts, he has also had success collaborating with many other artists, including The Waterboys, The Wonder Stuff, Frank Zappa, John Lee Hooker and a 30 year history with Van Morrison.

Planet Groucho Records is an independent record label based in the Scottish Highlands. Artists include: The Ramisco Maki Maki Rocking Horse, The Kazoo Funk Orchestra, Oak Hero and Lindsay Llewellyn.

This year Maggie’s is 20 years old and by the end of the year will have 20 Centres across the UK and beyond. To celebrate this and the RIAS Festival of Architecture 2016, part of the Year of Innovation and Design, ECA have worked with Maggie’s to create a travelling exhibition called ‘Just Incase’, which carries 12 objects selected by the 12 people who represent the significant foundations of Maggie’s in Scotland.
