Conference: ‘Arts, Enterprise and Place in the Rural Creative Economy’ (12th, 13th January 2022)

Newcastle University are hosting a two-day conference in the School of Arts and Cultures on the 12th and 13th of January 2022 entitled: Arts, Enterprise and Place in the Rural Creative Economy. This international conference brings together those researchers, practitioners and artists who study, govern, perform and/or make a living in the rural creative economy with a focus upon the issues surrounding artistic livelihoods, communities and enterprises in rural areas. It forms a part of his AHRC-funded Leadership Fellowship (Music in the Rural Creative Economy) and the full programme of speakers and keynote (Dr Nancy Duxbury) are now available on the conference website:
