CREATIVE DIGITAL INITIATIVE - Scottish Government digital funding for creative industries
Speaking at the OECD conference on 27th January, Fiona Hyslop, (Cabinet Secretary for Economy, Fair Work and Culture) mentioned a new fund, the Creative Digital Initiative (CDI). The initiative is being developed to provide support to creative and cultural businesses to help them develop their digital capabilities in response to the limitations imposed by Covid-19. It will build on some existing programmes of support as well as providing grants to enable organisations and businesses to invest in skills and resources.
The elements of the initiative will be rolled out over a period of time, and it is likely to be a few weeks before the details of the funding element become available. The details will be made available on the XpoNorth website.
