Celebrating their 21st edition, the Red Hot Chilli Pipers, King Creosote and recently re-formed Isle of Lewis natives, Astrid, will join already announced acts such as Runrig, Julie Fowlis, Hayseed Dixie and John McCusker to celebrate a milestone year for one of the regions’s key festivals.
Other acts set to appear include RURA, Hazey Janes, Woodenbox, Hunter & The Bear and MG ALBA Scots Trad Music Awards nominees, Fara and Talisk.
HebCelt Director Caroline Maclennan said: ‘The programme for 2016 is really coming together now and we are excited about the quality and diversity of the line-up. We have a great mix of well-established favourites and are bringing a great array of new acts, very much in keeping with our aim of supporting emerging talent and introducing our audience to new music’.
