From November 6th, our new exhibitions will be on display. In our gallery downstairs there will be a range of ceramic, wood and other craft work by Highland makers. We’ll be featuring chopping boards and lamps by Jim Pennie, lampshades by Lucy Wagtail, some beautiful ceramics by Julia Smith, photography by Eoghain Maclean and some new items from Red Ruby Rose. All the items will be for sale, and we hope might prove interesting and attractive options for Christmas gift-giving.
Local artist Viveca Port has been busy creating pencil portraits of some familiar local faces (a project which begun during lockdown) which will also be on display downstairs. Do come in to see whose bonnie faces are gracing the walls of our downstairs gallery.
Upstairs, we’ll be exhibiting a range of different artwork by some local artists as well as artists who have previously exhibited with us. The exhibition will feature work by Lynn Bennett Mackenzie, Fiona Mackenzie, Fiona Macintyre, Sheena Graham, Alison Dunlop, Sarah Dowse, Rosanne Wiseman, Jennifer Henderson, Sarah Milteer, Jill Holmes, Lisa Fenton, Viveca Port and Lys Stevens.
