An unexpected blend of master-class; hands on experience both front and back of house; with a bunch of diverse individuals thrown into the mix, created a whirlwind of live radio which delivered a vibrant, challenging but enjoyable experience in the art of learning about "radioland".
I can comment with some authority having been on many courses over the years, that this two week intensive course by Dabster Productions for XpoNorth, has been one of my favourites. I only enrolled to learn about podcasting but was soon up against the wall technically as I have a techno phobic wall of my own to overcome.

To be then thrown to the lions, presenting in front of a live audience, was a nerve-racking experience, which unraveled a peculiar persona in myself as Nanna Lou.
My experience of working with Dabster was one delivered with great hilarity from Richard Melvin; a steady pair of hands at the helm in Al Lorraine and Sean Kerwin; much needed chomping at the bit from Julia Sutherland. Combine that with their dedicated commitment to ensuring that each one of us received the individual attention required to achieve our own personal goals made for successful outcomes all round.
