The MPG (Music Producers Guild) return to XpoNorth with an incredible list of speakers to discuss the art of making records.

 

The panelists set to appear are:

John Leckie

John Leckie
The legendary John Leckie - a producer who has worked with artists including George Harrison, John Lennon, Pink Floyd, The Stone Roses, Radiohead and Muse.

 

 

 

Dave Bascombe

Dave Bascombe
One of today’s finest mix engineers, Dave Bascombe, whose work in the 80s established a defining sound for artists such as Depeche Mode, Erasure, The Human League and Peter Gabriel - with his reputation continuing to soar with recent work for Royksopp and Pendulum.

 

 

Brett Cox

Brett Cox
Brett Cox, who won MPG Breakthrough Engineer Of The Year for his work with Alt-J and Marika Hackman.

 

 

 

 

Cameron Blackwood

Cameron Blackwood
Cameron Blackwood, who produced George Ezra’s breakthrough album Wanted on Voyage, along with producing acts including London Grammar and Gavin James.

 

 

 

Andrew Hunt

Andrew Hunt
The session will be chaired by MPG’s, Andrew Hunt, an established producer in his own right who has worked with producers including Jimmy Hogarth, Cameron Craig and Mick Glossop.
