UK-Japan Free Trade Agreement: Launch of Virtual Spring Mission
2nd March 2021 | 09:00 - 10:30
Since January 2021, the UK has a new Free Trade Agreement with Japan, the world’s third largest economy, opening even more opportunities for UK companies to forge partnerships and generate new business in this dynamic Asian country. Marking this exciting new chapter in trading relations between the UK and Japan, the Department for International Trade (DIT) is hosting a series of business focused UK-Japan Trade events.
On the 2nd of March 2021, the Minister for Exports, Graham Stuart, will launch the ‘Partnering with Japan – Spring ’21 Free Trade Agreement Series’. The 90-minute launch event will provide expert insight into the Japanese market and how the Free Trade Agreement can benefit business, as well as enabling participating companies to develop their knowledge of how to succeed and support their plans for engaging with the Japanese market. The event will also outline the benefits of DIT’s in-house Export Academy, and the wide range of support you can receive from our Strategic Partner, Export to Japan.
To get involved and join the launch event, businesses and organisations can Sign Up Here. The event will include sessions with the Minister, experts in Japan and leading figures from UK companies.
