Harriet Smart is both an author and co-founder, with her husband, of a software company called Anthemion. As a writer Harriet is known for her historical fiction notably the Northminster Series.

Harriet has used her experience of the challenges of writing multi character fiction to help shape the development of a software product called Writers Cafe. Her move into publishing in ebook format led to another product emerging called Jutoh which makes the process of turning a manuscript into an ebook much more straightforward.
