XpoNorth TweetPitch 2022
Friday 21st January 2022: 9am - 9pm
The annual XpoNorth Tweet Pitch, produced in association with the Association of Scottish Literary Agents, gives writers from across Scotland the chance to pitch their work to a panel of Scotland’s leading literary agents and publishers. Writers of all levels and from all genres have the chance to land a book deal by simply pitching their work in 280 characters or less and tagging #XpoNorth. Completed work or projects still in development will be considered from writers living and working in Scotland. The only requirement is that the work must be unpublished.
“The annual Tweet Pitch has become a major date in the calendar of Scottish publishing, and a real celebration and display of the depth, diversity and spirit of writing in Scotland.
“The day offers writers a chance to kick-start their writing year with a pitch to agents and publishers, and is an opportunity that has been proven, time and time again to work.
“This year again we are offering two events ahead of the tweet pitch offering insights into current publishing trends and how to construct the perfect pitch. Both of these events are relevant for writers planning to tweet pitch and for those preparing to pitch their work in more conventional ways to agents and publishers in the year ahead.”
- Peter Urpeth, Writing and Publishing Sector Specialist, XpoNorth
Ahead of the Tweet Pitch event in January, there will also be two writing and publishing sessions:
