Need help to find creative people to work with - what skills are you looking for?
The current crisis means that we are all having to think about how to do things differently to keep the business going. Unfortunately, not many of us will be fortunate enough to have all the skills we need in-house to achieve this. The XpoNorth Notice Board is an easy way to let others know what skills you are looking for, and will be a useful place to see what work might be available for creatives, so, whether you need a film maker, coding skills, experience of online sales or anything else, this is the place to post.
We will promote the board as widely as we can, but in order to keep this as up to date as possible, we are not 'recommending' or evaluating the skills levels of respondents, we will just do what we can to link people up.
If you have any questions or need some advice, just send a question by e-mail to Claire email@example.com and we will get back to you with a response as quickly as we can.

Hello all, glad to be able to participate in XPo North this week. I am a researcher at Newcastle University doing a large project on music in rural areas. The key question of the research is how best to support sustainable musical micro-enterprises in the rural creative economy? I'd love to hear from you if you work in any form of music or music-related business in the Highlands and Islands. You can contact me via the socio app, or directly at email@example.com Looking forward to hearing more from everyone. There is a bit more detail on my website for anyone who is interested in finding out more about the research: https://simonmckerrell.com/research/music-in-the-rural-creative-economy-project/ all the best, Simon McKerrell.

I'd love to hear from any heritage organisation who would like imaginative content or author input to connect with young people. I spend a lot of time visiting schools and creating content with a creative writing/drama/storytelling focus. My four historical novels for children, all published by Cranachan, are: The Siege of Caerlaverock (medieval, out August 2020) Fir for Luck (Highland Clearances) Punch (Victorian adventure) Black Water (18th Century smuggling/Robert Burns) All based on real events.
