Filmmaking Apprentice
Job Description
Our client, who is a creative video production agency based in Elgin and produces video content and advertising campaigns in the drinks, fashion and travel industries in Scotland and internationally is looking for a creative and hard-working individual to join their team as a Filmmaking Apprentice.
Reporting to the Junior Producer, the apprentice will work and grow alongside their hard-working tight-knit team and work within numerous areas such as; camera operation, video editing, project management, animation or client account management.
Responsibilities:
- Support Camera and Production Crew on Location
- Support Editor and Animator in Studio
- Keep Studio Tidy and Organised
- Keep Up to Date with Current Video Production Trends and Social Media
- Work Towards and Complete Creative Media SVQ

Your training will start with a 12-18 months Creative Media Apprenticeship, which consists of learning on the job, as well as our custom-built E-Learning platform. You will develop all the skills you need to pass your work-based assessments. Our assessors are available to provide one-to-one support and will work with your line manager to ensure you settle into your new role.
You will gain a Diploma in Creative Media, which is a Nationally recognised qualification and may be used to gain employment and further your career in creative media.
***Please note all candidates must be 16-24 due to government apprenticeship funding and must be able to easily commute to Elgin every weekday. We welcome applicants from aged 16-29 if you are care experienced or a person with a physical disability, learning difficulty, mental health difficulty,
