This table refers to the development of sector specific guidance. Our Framework for Decision Making (published 23 April) sets out our approach and the principles that will guide us out of the current lockdown arrangements. This makes clear that the timing of any restart will be decided on the basis of the public health evidence. We are listening to the best scientific advice on if, when, and how to ease restrictions to inform our decisions and seeking to balance the inter-related personal, social, and economic harms.
We are working with business, employers, trades unions, regulatory bodies and others in establishing a collective approach to restarting the economy in a safe and orderly way. The sector specific guidance is one part of this process.
