Accounting Apprenticeship Development Wider Consultation Survey 

Help develop apprenticeships in Accounting

Two new Accounting apprenticeship(s) at proposed SCQF levels 6 and 8 have been developed through the employer-led approach led by Skills Development Scotland (SDS).

The work is being directed by a Technical Expert Group (TEG) which includes employers, industry experts, professional bodies and learning providers who have shaped the new apprenticeships.

The TEG has designed drafts of the 2 new apprenticeships for use across the Accounting sector in Scotland:

  • The first Accounting Apprenticeship is at (indicative) SCQF level 6
  • The second Accounting Apprenticeship is at (indicative) SCQF level 8

In this final stage we want to consult with all Accountancy stakeholders to ensure they have their say and provide their feedback on the content of the new apprenticeships before they are approved.
