Free Online Filmmaking and Animation Workshops
If you are part of an organisation or group that would like to make a film to submit to the challenge but need some support to get started, Film Access Scotland is running Free Online Workshops, delivered in collaboration with organisations across Scotland: Screen Education Edinburgh, GMAC Film, Media Education, shmu, South West Media Factory, An Lanntair, Plantation Productions, Screen Argyll and Scottish Association for Marine Science.
Film Access Scotland is calling for representatives from groups and organisations across Scotland, such as community groups, youth groups, environmental groups, activist groups, or arts groups to get involved in Climate Challenge: 1.5 Degrees Films through Free Online Workshops. The Workshops will provide practical filmmaking and climate literacy training for participants who will learn how to structure a story, make a film, record sound and edit, while making a 90-Second climate change film using their mobile phone or tablet. Once participants have completed the training, they will be able to help their group or organisation make a 90-second film for the Challenge.
The registration form for these Workshops can be found here.
