How Google is helping small businesses get discovered online

Good news can seem in short supply on the British high street right now. Retailers, many of them household names, have had to adapt at speeds never previously seen.

Change might have been coming anyway, but the closures and disruption in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic have meant that in a matter of weeks, hundreds of years of retail practices have needed to adapt like never before.

However, with the help of online tools such as Google My Business, the first green shoots of recovery are appearing for firms.
