Kickstarter Forward Funds
Creative Scotland has set up a £50,000 fund with backing from The National Lottery to support Scotland-based creators running Kickstarter projects. The Forward Fund will support creators during their projects and champion their work to a global audience.
Forward Funders are foundations, nonprofits, and organizations that back Kickstarter campaigns related to their visions and missions around a more creative and equitable world. Each Forward Funder makes a public commitment and then backs projects just like anyone else—through single pledges that bring the works one step closer to reality.
Live projects can be submitted for consideration through our form and, if selected, will receive 5-10% of their goal pledged from the Creative Scotland Forward Fund. Creators must reside in Scotland and may not be in full-time education or be an academic body in order to be eligible. For more information, click here
