Remote Participation in Cultural Projects: Part Two
Live streaming an event creates a suite of valuable assets which include the shared experience, another property that can be monetised and a catalogue of valuable content assets. Leading cultural organisations have utilised digital content production and distribution successfully to build their brands and widen their audience reach significantly. Dougal Perman will chair a panel of cultural content pioneers who have utilised remote participation to engage audiences who would not otherwise have the opportunity to experience their work. Panellists will include producers from UK National Theatre’s NT Live, London Symphony Orchestra and the National Piping Centre.
