Skills Development Scotland will run through the inspiring range of programmes they deliver and how they can support young creatives. There will also be an opportunity to hear a range of XpoNorth speakers detail the journey they took to break into the creative industries and forge a successful career. This interactive session will offer practical advice on routes into the industry, setting goals, top tips on how to achieve them and give attendees an invaluable opportunity to ask our panel of experts how you can drive your creative career forward.

Tyler Polzin is the Senior Director at the renowned, Los Angeles-based global artist discovery and development firm A&R Worldwide. Polzin has played a key role with his A&R Worldwide team in delivering tangible outcomes for clients in the form of label signing, licensing deals, publishing agreements and numerous synchs.

Tom is the owner and founder of Northport, a film-focussed creative studio in Elgin, Moray. Northport craft rare and extraordinary stories for brands with an international audience. Tom handles everything from development to cinematography and post production.
Netty Sopata
Director, Diggory Brown
Netty is the Owner and Designer of Diggory Brown; a bespoke kilt making business on the Isle of Lewis, Scotland. Netty specialises in using locally woven cloth in her work and has recently developed her own Harris Tweed, from the wool produced from her family’s flock of Hebridean Sheep.
