Calling all Highlands and Islands based production companies, filmmakers and writers. Please join us for an exclusive, in-depth pitch bootcamp with Oscar nominated Executive Producer Jason Lust (Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio, Peter Rabbit, the Matrix). Hear about Jason’s own experience packaging and selling projects in Hollywood, learn how to translate your project for the current US market and ask Jason all your burning development questions.

About Jason Lust:
Executive producer, Jason Lust, was one of the original founders of prolific management and production company Circle of Confusion, which was responsible for The Matrix Trilogy as well as The Walking Dead. He later joined The Jim Henson Company where he ran the production division for film, producing films such as Alexander And The Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day and developing new works for legacy projects such as The Dark Crystal and Labyrinth.
Jason partnered with The LEGO Movie producer Animal Logic Entertainment where he was responsible for contracting over $1 billion dollars’ worth of pipeline business, and setting up approximately fifteen features including conceiving and producing Peter Rabbit (Sony). Jason also conceived and developed The Shrinking Of The Treehorns with Ron Howard directing (Netflix). Most recently, Jason is the Executive Producer on Guillermo del Torro’s Oscar nominated Pinocchio (Netflix).
Please note, this opportunity is only open to creative, digital and heritage networks based across the Highlands and Islands.
