XpoNorth 2021 Conference | Spotlight on: Music
We're thrilled to be able to share with you the sessions curated as part of XpoNorth 2021's music strand.
This year’s programme brought together a range of regional, national and international perspectives from across the music industry to discuss some of the key themes impacting and shaping the sector at this important time. Our long-standing partners A&R Worldwide were joined by Red Bull Records and BMG to weigh in on the global music market and discuss what’s on the horizon. We welcomed back the Music Producers Guild (MPG) along with guests from across the sector for a frank conversation on the culture of unpaid work against the backdrop of their #KnowYourWorth campaign. We were also delighted to be joined by a genuine trailblazer, Kim Hawes, as she discussed her career as a tour manager, challenging the largely male dominated structures of the time to break new ground for females in the music industry.
