With changes in consumer shopping trends, there are a growing number of selling platforms both direct to consumers and to wholesale businesses that can be run from your studio, without the need to travel.
In this session we talk with Gillian Crawford about e-commerce platform exposure that has led to collaborations, partnerships, and increased sales.
Gillian Crawford:
Gillian is an award-winning journalist and commentator with the Sunday Times. She is chair of the British Association of Women Entrepreneurs (BAWE) Scotland, an organisation for senior female entrepreneurs in scale-up mode. Gillian is an ambassador for Women’s Enterprise Scotland and a founding member of the Institute of Ecommerce. She is the founder of the e-commerce brand lilyblanche.com and is based in Stirling.
Gillian is the recipient of the Women’s Enterprise Scotland Award 2022 for embracing technology and was nominated for the Inspiring Leader Award 2022. She recently completed the Growth Advantage Programme for entrepreneurs at Strathclyde University and was invited by Sir Tom Hunter to join his Scale-Up Scotland Programme this year. A mother of three, she lives in Stirling with her husband, a doctor.
