David Oxley
Director of Business Growth, Highlands and Islands Enterprise
David spent 15 years in the food and drink sector, after qualifying as an accountant. He joined Highlands and Islands Enterprise (HIE) in 2004 as Head of Operations in Lochaber, became the agency’s Area Manager for Moray in 2011 and is currently Director of Business and Sector Development.

Clive Gilman
Director, Creative Industries, Creative Scotland
Creative Scotland is the public body that supports the arts, screen and creative industries across Scotland. Clive has a background in contemporary art and media, has worked as an artist, Associate Director of FACT, and prior to his current role at Creative Scotland was the Director of Dundee Contemporary Arts.
Isabel Davies
Director, Screen Scotland
Isabel leads Screen Scotland and will deliver the ambition and outcomes set out in the Collaborative Screen Proposal. To drive growth, Isabel will negotiate major new Screen sector deals and partnerships, in Scotland, across the UK, and internationally. The role will also deputise for the Chief Executive on key stakeholder relationships relating to Screen.
Neil Semple
Head of Creative Industries, Department of International Trade and Investment
Neil Semple is Creative Content Lead for Exports at the UK Department for International Trade (DIT). He leads a team covering the film, television, games, music and publishing sectors. Neil Semple has over 20 years’ experience of international trade development and promotion work in UK Government departments.
Susan McColl
Creative Industries, Scottish Enterprise
Susan McColl is an Economic Development Professional with over 20 years’ experience working in Scottish Enterprise, Enterprise Trusts and Training Organisations. Susan is passionate about helping the creative economy of Scotland grow and supports companies to innovate, develop their talent and generate new employment opportunities to broaden their international reach.
