Museums and Heritage Highland exists to ensure that Highland heritage thrives, for the benefit of everyone living in and visiting the Highlands.
We work with museums and heritage organisations located across this large, beautiful, disparate area - from Fort Willian to Wick and Nairn to Skye - to generate exciting and innovative projects that help them raise standards, engage with more people and be sustainable and resilient. Our museums have the stories, the objects and the people that bring the Highlands to life for all who visit and live there. They are an essential component in small, rural communities helping them to prosper, economically and socially. We want to ensure they can keep telling these stories in new and interesting ways for current and future generations.
